The Ocean
The cheapest way to obtain Wild-Caught Fried Shrimp is to catch them in the ocean. Indeed, players who run into the ocean will find that there are a variety of fish silhouettes moving around in the water, and the “catch” input will appear as they approach those silhouettes. While fans will certainly not receive a Wild-Caught Shrimp every time that they snatch a fish out of the ocean, they should find one quite quickly.
While players who are attempting to recruit Squid Hunter Kennosuke will likely want to look for Wild-Caught Fried Shrimp in the ocean that is accessed via Aloha Beach, they could target the waters on the east side of the Rich Island map if that is their preference.
Nolan’s Boat
If a player does not want to bother with searching the ocean for Wild-Caught Fried Shrimp, they can simply buy the item from Nolan’s Boat. This vendor can be found atop a floating platform in the ocean by Aloha Beach, just a short swim from Squid Hunter Kennosuke’s position, and he sells Wild-Caught Fried Shrimp for just $1.60.
Wild-Caught Fried Shrimp is not the only reason to visit Nolan’s Boat, as the vendor sells a variety of fish and materials. He also has a couple CDs and figureheads in stock, the latter of which may be of interest to players who want to customize the Goromaru.
Squid Hunter Kennosuke in Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii
After obtaining a Wild-Caught Fried Shrimp, players should give the recovery item to Squid Hunter Kennosuke. This action will lead to the completion of the associated scouting task and the character’s recruitment. While it is true that Kennosuke may not be the best crew member upon recruitment, he is a reasonable addition to one of the cannon teams in the early-game. Additionally, the character has First Mate and Squad Leader traits that Like a Dragon fans may find useful.
