Copper can sometimes be a bit tricky to find, especially if you’re low on funds, or even if you have the money but don’t want to spend time searching the open world for a single material needed to craft your favorite sword. In this guide, we’ll help you get copper blacksmithing material so you won’t have to worry about finding it anymore.
Where To Get Copper
Copper is a blacksmithing item, which means it’s a material used to craft various pieces of equipment and items, including swords. It can be a bit tricky to find, and one of the few places you can get it is by looting a chest with an easy lockpicking difficulty.
Another method is stealing it from armourers and blacksmith merchants. To do this, you must wait until nightfall when the merchants close their stores and go to sleep. Then, head to their shops, pick the lock on the door, and enter quietly. Grab all the materials you need without being seen, but be extremely careful, as getting caught will land you in serious trouble with the guards.
And there is the safest option, aside from stealing copper from vendors and risking getting caught red-handed by the guards, is to take the easy and legal route. Head to one of the blacksmiths on the map and buy it from them for a small price.

- Blacksmiths: You can find plenty of blacksmiths across the map, and most of them sell copper materials. If you’re still at the beginning of the game, simply head to the Kuttenberg region, where you’ll find many blacksmiths, any one of them will sell you copper.
- Armourers: There are numerous armourers throughout the game world and nearly all of them stock copper. Open your map, search for a nearby armourer, and head to him, he’ll sell you copper for a small price.
