It’s natural that, if you start something, you want to finish it. Pokemon TCG Pocket’s release schedule isn’t allowing for that, and players on the game’s subreddit have begun to panic.
In a recent thread, G6DCappa said, “We haven’t even done the win streak event of this set. Calm the f**k down Dena,” a sentiment that was echoed by many others. One user added that they “don’t want another set,” while a third said that they are “done caring.”
Sentiment around the game has slowly been turning negative since its release last year, and one Reddit user made the point that they “wish they did this but with their quality-of-life updates”—a very valid point that would ease a lot of stress all around.
While we don’t know what’s in expansion A2a just yet, it’s likely to be similar in size to Mythical Island, which contained 86 total cards. If that’s the case, players will have had 293 cards released in a four-week period, you can understand the stress.
