In one of the more unsurprising pieces of news this year, The Pokemon Company has confirmed it will be hosting its yearly Pokemon Day Pokemon Presents livestream on February 27, 2025.

This year’s Pokemon Day is going to be huge.

The Livestream will take place at 2 pm GMT/9 am ET/6 am PT and will be streamed on the official Pokemon YouTube channel and other social media platforms.

Pokemon’s Annual Pokemon Day Presents Livestream Confirmed

The livestream was officially confirmed on the Japanese Pokemon Twitter account before being confirmed by the Pokemon Company anywhere else.

As is always the case, details of what will be shown at the event are sparse, but it’s almost certain we’ll get our first proper look at Pokemon Legends: Z-A. Nintendo confirmed the title is still set for launch this year, alongside Metroid Prime 4: Beyond, and we’ve still not seen any footage of the game in action.

The Pokemon TCG is set to receive a pair of expansions seemingly focused on Mega Evolutions, so we should get our first look at these, too.

Rumors surrounding Pokemon Black and White remakes have been circulating for quite some time now, and the Pokemon TCG has two sets releasing in June, Black Bolt and White Flare, which has fans believing that this could finally become a reality.

With the hype around the Pokemon TCG reaching unprecedented levels, don’t be surprised by a handful of reveals of new and upcoming cards.

It’s also likely that Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket will be added to the mix, with a new expansion due out at the end of the month, as will the usual suspects like Pokemon Unite, Pokemon GO, and Pokemon Cafe Mix.
