While Mewtwo technically appeared in the Pokemon TV series before its film launched, Mewtwo’s identity was largely kept secretive to the trainers in the TV show, while it had a full reveal in the film. Mewtwo Strikes Back, which has since been remade as a 3D animated film, depicts Mewtwo before it broke free of the lab it was created in, floating in a glass tube, listening to the people around it. That moment has now been cleverly brought to life as a lamp.
