How to Get the Monster Hunter Wilds Benchmark
To download the benchmark, follow these steps:
- Visit the Steam page for Monster Hunter Wilds.
- Click Download on the benchmark option.
- Select installation options and click Install.
- Accept the End User License Agreement that pops up.
- Once the download and install are done, head to Library and find the Monster Hunter Wilds benchmark.
- Select Play and choose your Language.
This will then allow you to determine just how well your computer can run the game. You will get a score. Anything from 5199 or lower will have difficulty running the game. From 5200 to 6999, you can play the game with some settings changed to help the performance. From 7000-10249, you can play it fine, but setting changes are recommended. 10250- 12999 is the sweet spot where it is fully playable.
Anything within the range of 13000-19999 is considered “good” and everything from 20000 and up is “excellent.” Those PCs will not only not have trouble with the game, but it will be the optimal version, even better than console games. Of course, none of this matters if you don’t have the right specs, so be sure to check out the system requirements before running the benchmark.
