Kingdom Fan Makes Puppet Shadow Milk

Shadow Milk Cookie, a recent addition to Cookie Run: Kingdom, has been recreated as a neatly crafted paper puppet, thanks to one talented fan’s effort. Since its arrival in January 2025, Shadow Milk Cookie has quickly become a fan-favorite character among Cookie Run: Kingdom players.

Initially revealed as an NPC in January 2024, Shadow Milk Cookie was added as a playable character in Cookie Run: Kingdom for the first time via the Spire of Shadows update on January 15, 2025. In the short time since then, this particular character has won the favor of fans, owing to its proficient attack and damage resist bypass stats, among other things. Due to Shadow Milk Cookie’s growing popularity, certain fans of the 2021 Cookie Run title have already started expressing their fondness of the character through fan art, the latest of which transformed the Beast cookie into a puppet on strings.

In a Reddit post, user Chest-Enough shared their mini paper puppet version of Cookie Run: Kingdom‘s Shadow Milk Cookie, based on the character’s posture during the pick-up animation in the game. The pictures depict an eye-catching portrayal of the harlequin-themed character, minus the jester hat and the staff. One noticeable aspect that separates the puppet version of Cookie Run: Kingdom‘s new Magic type character from its in-game render is the minimalist approach used for the facial features in Chest-Enough’s depiction. The Redditor shared that it took them three nights to finish making the stringed puppet. They also gave an overview of their creative process, sharing that the character was drawn using acrylic markers. To make the puppet, they strung together the paper pieces using nylon thread, then taped the ends of the string to the top part of the puppet, and finally used another layer of paper to cover the strings visible at the front.

In the comments, several Cookie Run: Kingdom players heaped praise on the Shadow Milk Cookie puppet, with the post getting over 2K upvotes so far. In their reply, Chest-Enough stated that they planned to make something similar based on Cookie Run: Kingdom‘s Pure Vanilla Cookie in the near future.

Meanwhile, Cookie Run: Kingdom celebrated its fourth anniversary on January 19, 2025. As part of the celebration, certain codes were also announced, giving players an opportunity to claim free Cookie Run: Kingdom items for a limited time.
