Being clean in KCD2 should always be on players’ minds, as other characters won’t take kindly to Henry if he is covered in blood or mud. All of these details affect Henry’s Charisma, which is often used to convince people to agree with him. If he smells, this can also give him away when trying to stealth.
How To Use Soap In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
Soap is used to wash clothes in KCD2, something that can also be done at the bathhouse in exchange for Groschen. Therefore, knowing how to wash clothes for free can be a nice way to save money in the game. Unlike Tailor Kits and the like, soap does not run out with each use, meaning one instance of soap can last the whole game.
Players can tell if their clothes are dirty, as in the inventory they may have a blood or brown dirt icon. Henry’s in-game appearance is another indicator.
To use soap, players must first find a laundry spot.
Finding Laundry Spots In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
Landry spots are small wooden piers next to water, and they are marked on the map by a tub of water with some clothes hanging out.
Some examples of laundry spots include:
- Back of Semine castle, accessed via the stable.
- The nomad camp.
- East of the Zhelejov bathhouse.
By walking to the end of these, the option to wash clothes will pop up.

- PC: Hold E
A menu will then pop up, showing all the clothes and armor that Henry is currently carrying. From here, simply select individual items of clothing, or select all. Finally, press confirm.

Many of the structures and locations in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 are still standing, and fans can visit them in Czechia.
Henry will then clean all his clothes for free without consuming anything. If players are close to a laundry site, this is also faster than using a bathhouse, which advances time by at least an hour.
You can remove your horse tack too and clean it alongside normal clothes. To properly wash your horse in KCD2, though, head to a horse trader.
