To get the Aurora Rod in Fisch, head to Vertigo and buy it for 90,000 in-game cash during the Aurora Borealis server event. Vertigo is an underwater location that only opens up through a whirlpool, but since it doesn’t show up all the time, you’ll have to wait for it to spawn. Also, before heading in, make sure that the Aurora Borealis event is active. This event happens naturally, but it’s pretty rare. Thankfully, you can trigger it using an Aurora Totem, so it’s a good idea to keep one in your inventory.
For those who don’t know, Aurora Totems aren’t cheap—they’ll set you back 500,000 in-game cash each. You can only buy them at Brine Pool when the Aurora Borealis event is active, so it’s best to grab a few whenever you get the chance.
With all that in mind, once you get the notification about the Strange Whirlpool opening, it’s time to set things up.
