Summary
- Helldivers 2 is planning another crossover following the Killzone collab, though it’s in the “very early stages”.
- Arrowhead doesn’t give any other details about what it is, but I personally have my fingers crossed for ODST or Cyberpunk 2077.
Helldivers 2 has been soldiering on quite nicely for the past few months, as players take the fight against the Illuminate to try and stop a black hole from sucking up Super Earth. You know, pretty standard Helldivers 2 stuff.
With this brief spell of calm, players have naturally begun wondering what exactly the plans are for the game’s future, with crossovers one of the biggest topics of discussion. Ever since the Killzone collab was released a while back, fans have wondered exactly what the next one will be, getting their requests in, and when it will drop.

Arrowhead has refrained from sharing many details about future crossovers, but it has finally revealed that is has “something new” in the works. This was revealed on the official Helldivers 2 Discord channel (thanks GamesRadar), as a developer called Sephez claimed that something is in “the very early stages” when asked about future potential crossovers.
Helldivers 2 Has Another Crossover In The Works Following Killzone
Of course, that doesn’t tell us an awful lot about any plans, but at least we know another is in the works. We can get a good idea of exactly what it could be from past comments from the likes of Arrowhead CCO Johan Pilestedt, who recently outlined exactly what Arrowhead is looking for in future crossovers.
It could also turn out to be a limited-time event too, which Arrowhead did say could be possible a while back. When asked whether any future crossovers would include enemies, Pilestedt claimed that they wouldn’t, but future enemies would be added in a limited-time event.
