Disneyland Details Season of the Force 2025 Events Including New Projections and Luke Skywalker

Disneyland Park is once again celebrating the power of the Force as the fan-favorite Season of the Force event returns for a limited time. From March 28 through May 11, 2025, Star Wars fans can immerse themselves in epic galactic adventures, exclusive entertainment, themed ride overlays, out-of-this-world merchandise, and more at Disneyland.

New & Returning Attractions in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge

A brand-new nighttime projection show, “Shadows of Memory: A Skywalker Saga,” will debut in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge on March 28, according to Disney Parks Blog. Using stunning projections on Batuu’s spires near the Millennium Falcon, this immersive experience will take guests on a visual journey through some of the most iconic moments in galactic history. Accompanied by an epic score featuring legendary Star Wars themes, this show is sure to be a highlight of the event.

For the first time ever, a mysterious figure in Jedi robes will make an appearance in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. While details are scarce, rumors suggest it may be Luke Skywalker. Also returning for Season of the Force is “Fire of the Rising Moons,” a breathtaking nighttime experience during which guests can witness Disneyland’s fireworks from a unique vantage point in Galaxy’s Edge. With John Williams’ iconic Star Wars music setting the mood, this gathering celebrates the legends of the galaxy who came before. MagicBand+ users will get an enhanced experience with synchronized lights and vibrations.

Of course, guests can also live out their Star Wars dreams year-round in Galaxy’s Edge, whether piloting the Millennium Falcon, battling the First Order in Rise of the Resistance, or encountering iconic characters in Black Spire Outpost.

Ride Overlays & Epic Adventures

Over in Tomorrowland, Hyperspace Mountain is making its thrilling return, transforming Space Mountain into a high-speed Star Wars adventure for a limited time. Brave intergalactic travelers will find themselves dodging laser fire as Rebel X-wing starfighters and Imperial TIE fighters engage in a fierce battle.

Meanwhile, Star Tours – The Adventures Continue is getting an exciting update featuring characters and locations from Disney+ series such as Ahsoka, Andor, and The Mandalorian. With over 250 possible variations, guests might find themselves visiting the planet Seatos from Ahsoka or receiving urgent messages from Ahsoka Tano, Cassian Andor, Din Djarin, and even Grogu.

Exclusive Merchandise Arrives for Season of the Force

For those looking to bring home a piece of the galaxy, a brand-new collection of Star Wars merchandise will be available for a limited time across Disneyland Park, Disney California Adventure, and Downtown Disney. Among the exciting new offerings, guests can now personalize their own headbands for the first time, featuring plush versions of beloved characters like Yoda, R2-D2, Ewoks, Darth Vader, and Stormtroopers. The Her Universe Retro Collection, designed by Ashley Eckstein, will debut exclusively at The Star Trader for one week before becoming available at Star Wars Trading Post. Bounty hunters won’t want to miss the Boba Fett Sports Jersey, available at The Star Trader, Star Wars Trading Post, and World of Disney. Lightsaber enthusiasts will have an exciting opportunity at Savi’s Workshop. Handbuilt Lightsabers will be available, where a new storyline, “Reclaimed and Reforged,” launches on May 4. This limited-time experience allows guests to craft their own custom lightsabers from scavenged parts, making each build unique. Reservations are highly recommended for this hands-on adventure. Meanwhile, droid lovers can visit Droid Depot to build their very own BB-series, C-series, or R-series droid.

Guests can cool off with the refreshing Pi-Co Punch, a blend of pineapple juice, coconut milk, and lime juice, garnished with pineapple chunks and lotus root, available at Galactic Grill in Tomorrowland. For something sweet, the Wookiee Cookie, inspired by everyone’s favorite Wookiee, will be available at the Grand Californian Great Hall Cart through May 6. Over in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, adventurous foodies can sip on the Toydaria Swirl, featuring green milk with chile-lime seasoning and mango jellies, or enjoy a savory bite with the Fried Chicken Baos, two crispy chicken baos topped with sweet chili sauce, scallion salad, and cucumber coins, found at Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo.

For collectors, limited-edition drinkware will also be available while supplies last. The Droid Parts Premium Vessel, filled with butter popcorn dusted with Crait Red Salt, can be found at Kat Saka’s Kettle in Galaxy’s Edge. Over at Galactic Grill, the Darth Vader Premium Mug comes with a choice of fountain beverage, bottled water, coffee, tea, or hot chocolate.
