All Dessert Boat Recipes in Hello Kitty Island Adventure

Hello Kitty Island Adventure‘s Gemstone Mountain is home to two machines that you can use to make more gifts for your friends. Unlocking them requires the completion of various quests, which become available when you’ve reached a high enough friendship level with the respective character. The first machine you’ll likely find is the Soda Machine. Go west, and you’ll find a boat stranded in a dried-up oasis.

The Dessert Boat Machine is used to make desserts such as pudding and ice cream. You’ll want to unlock and upgrade this device as soon as possible since it’s used to create some of Island Adventure‘s best gifts.

How to Unlock the Dessert Boat Machine

Where to Find Pompompurin

The Dessert Boat can be found on the west side of Gemstone Mountain. You can activate the Oasis Mailbox right outside to unlock the fast-travel point for the Dessert Boat Machine. The machine is located on the back counter, but you won’t be able to use it until you’ve become better friends with Pompompurin.

You’ll need to reach level 4 friendship with Pompompurin to start the “Dessert-ed Boat“. For this quest, you’ll need to get x6 Fizzy Ore from the Gemstone Mine to repair the machine. Fizzy Ore can only be obtained by riding the minecarts inside the mines. Collect the Fizzy Ore as the cart rides by them.

Once you have the ore, return to Pompompurin who will realize they need Fizzy Crystal instead of Fizzy Ore. You’ll need to speak to Chococat to get the Fizzy Crystal crafting plans. To get x1 Fizzy Crystal, you’ll need x6 Fizzy Ore. With this, you can then repair the Dessert Machine and start making ice cream, pudding, and shakes.

How to Use Three Ingredients

When you first unlock the Dessert Machine, you’ll only be able to use two ingredients. To use three, you’ll want to get Pompompurin to level 13 (Station Upgrade: Dessert Boat). Upgrading the Dessert Machine is recommended if you’re trying to increase your friendship with characters like My Melody.

Since you won’t be able to make Pompompurin’s 3-heart gift until after you’ve upgraded the machine, you should just give him 2-heart gifts instead. The easiest and least-expensive to make is Pudding, which requires x1 Cactus Cream and x1 Coral Milk.

All Dessert Machine recipes use Cactus Cream. You can find these growing on the cacti west of Gemstone Town, south of the Oasis. Refer to the highlighted area (third image) above for the exact area.
