As the father of Breathing Styles, Yoriichi’s Sun Breathing Style was perfect to the point that he was able to slice and kill demons with ease before they could even react. He was also born with the Demon Slayer mark. Apart from his insanely high skills in swordsmanship, Yoriichi was also able to use Transparent World and Selfless State. Transparent World is a special form of enhanced vision that allows a user to see beings as if they are transparent, this means they are able to see the flow of blood and even the twitch of muscles in an opponent to anticipate an attack. Only a handful of characters are able to use this technique and Yoriichi is one of them.

Even though Yoriichi was recognized as one of the most powerful characters in the Demon Slayer series, there are a few others that come close to matching his power. The first is the Stone Hashira, Gyomei Himejima. Gyomei was so powerful that even Kokoushibo (an upper rank one demon and Yoriichi’s twin brother) also admitted that he was one of the most powerful people he had ever faced apart from his brother.
