Sea of Thieves has shared a new trailer for Season 15, which will begin on February 20. The next Sea of Thieves Season promises new content to make the player’s experience even more engaging, in addition to the usual cosmetic items to unlock and customize characters and ships.
Under the name Making Mischief, Sea of Thieves Season 14 kicked off on October 17 last year. The major part of the update was the introduction of new crouching, hanging, and disguise mechanics, and three new weapons: the Grapple Gun, Traps, and the Blowpipe with its black powder, poison, and bait darts. Along with new rewards to unlock with the Plunder Pass, Season 14 brought a variety of new events, such as the Festival of Giving, upgrades for outposts, and various Sea of Thieves cosmetics for players to obtain through the Pirate Emporium.

Now, Sea of Thieves is gearing up for what’s next, revealing the contents of Season 15, Wild Things, which will be available from February 20. In this free Sea of Thieves update, one of the main additions is two sea monsters, the Megalodons Feared Redmaw and Barnacled Dread. Feared Redmaw can cause massive damage to ships with a bite that sets them on fire. If players get too close, it can heat up and detonate, destroying the player’s ship. Barnacled Dread is equally intimidating, with an electrified bite that causes damage and spawns Ocean Crawlers on players’ decks.
Sea of Thieves Reveals What’s Coming in Season 15
Another big addition to Season 15 will be The Hunter’s Call expansion. The Sea of Thieves trading company now has dedicated stores in the outposts. By becoming Hunter’s Call emissaries, players will be able to embark on fishing trips, hunts, and raids. Completing one of these trips will reward players with exclusive items, making the challenges even more engaging. As in other seasons, Sea of Thieves players can also expect 100 levels of rewards to unlock, a new Plunder Pass, as well as more wildlife such as seagulls and wild boars.

With a new season coming soon, players will have plenty of time and other new things to explore, not least the arrival of the two new Megalodons.
