Every new major content update for Overwatch 2 is bound to come with some bugs, but a glitch that causes the cape of Doomfist’s Saitama skin to change colors based on weapon variants is one that many fans hope doesn’t get fixed. The latest season for Overwatch 2 recently went live and has enjoyed a notably smooth initial launch considering the huge amount of new content that it’s packed with.
Perhaps the biggest feature that comes with Season 15 of Overwatch 2 is the brand-new perk system, a mechanic that fans have been waiting to see for years. These new perks are game-changing in every sense, and allow players to upgrade their abilities in various ways as they progress through a match. Each hero in Overwatch 2 has four unique perks in total, and though the season is still extremely young, this new mechanic has been exceptionally well-received by fans so far. Overwatch 2 Fans Want This Particular Bug to Stay
It’s definitely a strange thing to see, but not nearly the weirdest glitch that players have encountered in Overwatch 2. It’s normal for most seasons to launch with some issues, usually minor ones that impact specific hero abilities or cause characters to A-pose by breaking emote animations. Thankfully, Blizzard has developed a track record for pushing out quick fixes following the release of a new season, so any concerning technical issues that players may currently be facing aren’t likely to stick around for long.
Similarly, it’s quite likely that Blizzard will look into fine-tuning some of the hero perk effects now that the feature is out in the wild. As fans continue to play and experiment with Overwatch 2‘s new hero perks, it’s likely that they’ll find some exploits and unintended interactions along the way, as tends to be the way of things.
