Killer And Kid Are Fairly Important For One Piece’s Race To Be The Pirate King
Before Their Defeat They Were Close To Catching Up WIth Luffy
Kid and Killer are two pirates introduced as members of the Worst Generation in One Piece. Introduced during the Sabaody Archipelago Arc, Kid and Killer are two powerful pirates that act as both rivals and allies to the Straw Hat Crew. However, despite being a big help during Wano, sadly, the Kid Pirates bit off more than they could chew when they faced Shanks, who swiftly decimated their entire crew single-handedly.
He just heard the Voice of All Things. That is all it was. – Rayleigh
At the same time, One Piece’s Three-Eye Tribe is an interesting group of characters that possess an extremely unique ability. By awakening their third eye, these people can access the power of the “Voice of All Things” allowing them to perform important tasks like deciphering Poneglyphs. However, so far, only one Three-Eye Tribe member exists in One Piece, Charlotte Pudding, though she is only half Three-Eye Tribe, with her other half being human.

Though the concept of a Monster Trio is a term created by fans, it’s the perfect way to define 2 exceptional crews in the story!
The theorist explains in their Reddit post that Killer has never been shown with an exposed forehead once throughout the entire series of One Piece so far. Additionally, when he is wearing bandages during One Piece’s Wano Arc, Killer’s head has strange indents on his forehead that imply that something may be under the bandages. Finally, while he is crying, it appears as if something in the middle of his forehead is moving around.
While this isn’t completely concrete evidence, it is, at the very least, interesting that so much effort has gone into hiding Killer’s forehead from sight. Additionally, the Kid Pirates have two of One Piece’s Poneglyphs, yet don’t have a way of reading them. However, if Killer were to be a member of the Three-Eye Tribe, the crew would be able to utilize the copy of the Poneglyph they have, instead of having it go to waste.
There Is No Concrete Evidence Killer Is A Member Of This Race
The Crew May Have Taken The Poneglyphs Without Knowing How To Read Them
Still, as of now, with Kid and Killer being defeated by One Piece’s Red Hair Pirates, it may be a while before any theories regarding Killer are confirmed. Plus, there is no clear evidence that the Kid Pirates took the copy of the Poneglyphs knowing they had a means of reading it. It seems just as likely that the Kid Pirates took the Poneglyph and would try to find a translator later on.
He used some strange power that involved hearing the “Voice of All Things” or something to read the damn things… – Big Mom
However, in the end, this does seem like an interesting way of introducing more members of a rare One Piece race into the story. By having Killer be a member of the Three-Eye Tribe, the Kid Pirates, despite their status being currently unknown, could become a bigger rival to the Straw Hats. Once Kid and Killer return to the story of One Piece, it’s very possible that Oda has big plans for the crew.
