Fallout 76 Brings Back Fasnacht Event for 2025

Bethesda Game Studios is bringing back the Fasnacht event to Fallout 76, running from February 18 to March 4. Fallout 76’s live-service experience continues to offer new content to players, this time inviting them to dive back into the Fasnacht event with new missions and rewards.

Serving as a sequel to previous entries in the Fallout franchise, Fallout 76 offers a multiplayer online action RPG with a live-service structure that frequently introduces and expands its content. Bethesda launched the game in 2018, and it’s come a long way since then, with multiple updates bringing new content, quests, and mechanics. The developer’s ongoing support of the game is notable, as Fallout 76 recently received a big update in January 2025. Now, Bethesda is treating players to a limited-time event.

Even for players who aren’t planning on transforming their character into a Ghoul, Fallout 76’s Season 20 update still has plenty to look forward to.

From February 18 to March 4, players will be able to enjoy the new missions and rewards in Fallout 76’s Fasnacht event. The public event should already be visible on players’ maps, inviting them to navigate Helvetia and interact with the NPCs who will assign them different tasks to complete. Activities range from saving bees to adding wood to a bonfire. Players who successfully finish the event will get the “Masked” prefix for their character title and a Fasnacht mask, alongside other rewards.

When Is the Fallout 76 Fasnacht Event Happening?

Three new Glowing Fasnacht masks have been added, including Big Foot, Jackalope, and Veggie Man. Players can also earn flowers and plant box decorations, as well as Soot Flower, Aster, Mutated Fern, and Ash Rose Boxes. The event is already live, so players can dive into Fallout 76 to enjoy all this new content.

The Fasnacht event is just another piece in the Fallout 76 roadmap leading up to April 2025. Players have already received January’s patch, which introduced a wealth of fixes and improvements to the game. Some of the most important changes included fixes for Scorchbeasts’ continuous fire, the Pip-Boy now properly displaying supplies, and adjustments to some quests. Additionally, the update fixed several weapons, including the Cauterizer, Gauss Minigun, Revolutionary Sword, and more.

Some UI fixes were also included in the patch, improving things like the Pip-Boy’s 3D renderings and resolving issues with overlaps in Item Statistics or CAMP slots. While Fallout 76 continues to deliver different events and new content to fans through updates, players can already enjoy the Fasnacht event.
