Disney Dreamlight Valley Reveals Aladdin Realm Characters and Release Date

Gameloft has officially unveiled the next major update for Disney Dreamlight Valley, and fans of Aladdin are in for a treat. As previously teased, the Disney Dreamlight Valley update, set to launch on February 26, will introduce new content inspired by the beloved animated film, featuring the arrival of Aladdin himself, alongside Princess Jasmine.

This won’t be the first time characters from Aladdin have appeared in the game. Jafar was previously introduced through the A Rift in Time paid expansion in 2023, and fans are eager to see how the villain might interact with Aladdin and Jasmine in the new update. However, Gameloft has yet to confirm any details regarding those potential encounters.

Dreamlight Valley players will often need five-star meals in order to complete Dreamlight Duties or quests, and there are some that are easy to make.

Set to launch on February 26, the Tales of Agrabah update will bring a brand-new Realm where players will assist Aladdin and Jasmine in uncovering the cause of mysterious sandstorms plaguing their home. But that’s not all because players will also have the chance to unlock the iconic Flying Carpet as a companion, adding a magical touch to their adventures. Once players have helped the duo resolve the sandstorm crisis, both Aladdin and Jasmine will be able to move into the Valley. As with other characters, they’ll come with their own unique Quests and friendship rewards. These rewards include exclusive avatar items, such as a Jasmine-inspired dress and an outfit resembling Aladdin’s signature look. Additionally, Aladdin’s quest will introduce a new stall where players can purchase rotating Gemstones daily.

Disney Dreamlight Valley’s Next Major Update Brings Aladdin and Jasmine to the Game

Gameloft has yet to reveal further details, but with the update launching in just a week, more information is expected soon. In the meantime, Disney Dreamlight Valley has already begun teasing the upcoming Star Path, which will feature a variety of themed rewards. While specifics haven’t been confirmed, early hints suggest that players may be able to earn items inspired by Aladdin, including a backpack or a bag styled after Genie.

That’s not the only update coming, because Tales of Agrabah will also introduce new customization options for the Floating Islands, adding four additional themes. Beyond that, the update will revamp the cooking system, introducing a new search feature and filters to make it easier to find quest meals and restaurant orders. Plus, The Princess and the Frog’s Tiana has a special surprise in store to assist players with their cooking-related Star Path tasks.

Tales of Agrabah is just one of three free updates planned for Disney Dreamlight Valley in 2025. Following the February update, a spring release will introduce content seemingly inspired by Alice in Wonderland. The addition of Alice aligns with the game’s free content roadmap, which was released in November, and hints at numerous classic character additions finally making their way to Disney Dreamlight Valley. Meanwhile, the summer update teases Skull Rock, hinting at possible appearances from Peter Pan characters like Captain Hook or Peter himself. The summer update will also coincide with the release of the second half of The Storybook Vale, which is set to focus on the infamous villain Maleficent.
