The dust from the falling out between Annapurna Interactive’s staff and its namesake parent company, Annapurna Pictures, has finally seemed to settle, allowing the publisher to once again organize streams filled with updates regarding its slate of future titles. This comes as a positive development for fans of the Stray publisher who experienced some worrying times in September 2024 when Annapurna’s entire game division was reported to have resigned. During this time, Annapurna Interactive’s partner devs reassured fans that their previously announced games were still on track for release, whereas Annapurna CEO Megan Ellison talked about facilitating the transition for its collaborators after such a major turning point. Now, the American publisher has given followers of its forthcoming video game projects a much-needed boost after formally announcing another showcase stream.

The Annapurna Interactive Showcase 2025 has been confirmed to air on YouTube on February 24, starting at 9 AM PST / 12 PM EST. After skipping 2024, the annual livestream, which exhibits the publisher’s future releases, is set to make its long-overdue return this year. Teasing the content of the showcase event, the studio revealed that updates related to a host of future Annapurna Interactive releases, including Faraway, Lushfoil Photography Sim, Morsels, Skin Deep, To a T, Wanderstop, and Wheel World, would be shared during the presentation. Apart from new information about these games, the company added that fans would also get a “few more surprises” during the stream.
Annapurna Interactive Showcase 2025 Returns After 2024 Absence
Since 2021, the Annapurna Interactive Showcase has been the go-to source for gamers to get more insight into the publisher’s immediate future. In 2024, however, Annapurna Interactive skipped hosting the stream, which used to take place during the summer months, and instead highlighted its upcoming games during third-party events, such as the Summer Game Fest. After an absence of almost 20 months, the Annapurna Interactive Showcase is finally coming back later in February. This may not only clear the air about the independently developed games under Annapurna’s label, but could also clarify the state of its internally developed projects, such as Bladerunner 2033: Labyrinth.
Even though 2024 was an unfortunate period for Annapurna’s game division, its film-oriented parent company made certain strides in terms of acquiring key licenses. In August, Annapurna signed an agreement with Remedy to adapt its popular IPs, namely Control and Alan Wake, into potential movie and TV projects.
