In Lost Records: Bloom & Rage’s seventh chapter, Autumn Lockhart, 1995, the game takes us back to one particular day during that fateful summer. Against a variety of backdrops around town, Swann is filming an interview with Autumn about her life, asking questions about her background, likes, and dislikes.

Don’t Nod’s ’90s-themed return to adventure games is more than nostalgia bait.
As the interviewer, Swann can ask Autumn a variety of questions, and the choices we make have the power to alter Swann’s relationship with her. In this guide, we’ll go over every choice in the chapter and let you know which options will go over well with Autumn (in the past and in the present) and which will put distance between the two girls.
As the game tells you early on, saying nothing is always an option. For the pink-timed questions in this chapter, choosing neither option has no effect, positive or negative.
Autumn About Town
The first choice hits before the time jump. In the present, Autumn is distracted, dealing with pressing texts from her boss.
It’s okay, really… |
Autumn approves. |
It… can’t wait? |
Autumn disapproves. |
When you jump back to 1995, Swann is interviewing Autumn. You have two question options.
What makes you happy? |
Autumn approves. |
How do you kill time? |
Autumn is neutral. |
Soon after that, Autumn wants to know if she’s a good interview subject. She asks if she’s doing okay. You have three response options.
You’re doing great! |
Autumn approves. |
You look so good on camera! |
Autumn approves. |
I’ll edit the mistakes out. |
Autumn is neutral. |
Responding “You’re doing great!” or “I’ll edit the mistakes out.” will cause Autumn to ask if you’re going to send the film to “Wackiest Home Videos.” You have two possible responses.
Good idea! Be weird! |
Autumn disapproves. |
No, this is serious! |
Autumn approves. |
Remembering Germany
In the next scene, Autumn remembers trying her dad’s beer and her mom’s rum and Coke while living in Germany. You can’t do anything with this information here, but remembering that she liked the rum and Coke plays into a choice in the next chapter.
In the next clip, Autumn talks about missing Germany. Initially, you have two options. You can ask her, “What was it like being the new kid?” or “Do you have a boyfriend?” But if you wait, a third option opens up when Autumn mentions that she still keeps in touch with one friend.
What was it like being the new kid? |
Autumn is neutral. |
Do you have a boyfriend? |
Autumn disapproves. |
Who’s this friend? |
Autumn approves. |
Autumn And Nora
Next, you and Autumn begin to talk about her friendship with Nora. If you ask, “How did you meet Nora?” Autumn will say that they met in detention. You can respond:
Is she like a sister to you? |
Autumn approves. |
Detention? That’s not good… |
Autumn disapproves. |
If you ask, “What kind of friend is Nora?” it opens up two options:
Is she like a sister to you? |
Autumn approves. |
Who would win in a fight, you or Nora? |
Autumn disapproves. |
In the final round of converation, Swann and Autumn are looking ahead to what Autumn’s future might have in store. You can ask her about her hopes in dreams in two different ways.
What’re you doing after graduation? |
Autumn is neutral. |
What’s your wildest dream? |
Autumn approves. |
With that, the chapter is over, and we return to the present.
