Tatsuyuki Nagai has been confirmed to return as the director for the fourth season. He directed the first three seasons of A Certain Scientific Railgun, and he has also worked on Mobile Suit GUNDAM Iron Blooded Orphans. Yuichi Tanaka and Shogo Yasukawa could return as character designer and series composer, respectively.
The first two seasons had 24 episodes each, while the third had 25 episodes. Currently, the episode count for the fourth season is unknown, but it should be in the same ballpark as the ones preceding it.
