When Will Avowed Reach Xbox Game Pass Standard?
The Standard tier of Xbox Game Pass doesn’t offer day-one access to new releases, so Avowed is currently limited to PC Game Pass and the Ultimate edition of the service. Microsoft typically adds new titles to XGP Standard about six months after their day-one debuts on the higher tiers of Xbox Game Pass, meaning Avowed could join the XGP Standard library before the end of 2025—possibly as early as August.
Avowed is the fourth and final game from the first wave of February 2025 Xbox Game Pass releases. It’s available on the Xbox Series X/S and PC, in addition to being streamable via Xbox Cloud Gaming. The non-cloud versions of the fantasy RPG require between 71GB and 75GB of storage space, depending on the platform. Early reviews suggest that Avowed takes approximately 20 hours to beat. While that’s on the shorter end for modern RPGs, the game’s choice-driven quest design allows it to offer above-average replay value.
