Summary

  • Xbox Game Pass Wave 2 lineup for February 2025 consists of three games: EA Sports F1 24, Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader, and Watch Dogs: Legion.
  • This trio will be preceded by Avowed, which is coming to the service at 10am PT / 1pm ET / 7pm CET later today, February 18.
  • Xbox Game Pass is currently on course to lose nine more titles than it will add over the course of February 2025.

Xbox Game Pass has confirmed three more titles for February 2025. While this month’s Wave 2 lineup isn’t extensive, it primarily features AAA titles making their Xbox Game Pass debuts.

Microsoft’s subscription service started 2025 on a high note, adding 13 new games in January alone. This release cadence slowed considerably at the turn of the month, with the Xbox Game Pass February 2025 Wave 1 lineup comprising only four titles.

On February 18, Microsoft announced the second part of this month’s roster, which is even smaller than the Wave 1 lineup, consisting of only three titles. The newly confirmed games are EA Sports F1 24, Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader, and Watch Dogs: Legion. While none of them are day-one releases, none were previously part of Microsoft’s content catalog, either. Before any of them reach subscribers, Avowed will make its way to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate later today, at 10am PT / 1pm ET / 7pm CET.

EA Sports F1 24 and Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader are then scheduled to reach the service this Thursday, February 20. Although most non-day-one titles make their way to Microsoft’s subscription library by 10am PT, games added through the Xbox Game Pass EA Play catalog often arrive later in the day. Therefore, Formula 1 fans eager to jump into EA Sports F1 24 may have to exercise patience while waiting for Codemasters’ racing sim on February 20.

Watch Dogs: Legion will round off this month’s Xbox Game Pass releases, being scheduled to reach the service on February 25. The third and final entry in Ubisoft’s series of open-world hacker adventures will join Watch Dogs 2, which has been available on Xbox Game Pass since July 2022. Watch Dogs 3 is the only title from the February 2025 Wave 2 lineup that will also be available via XGP Standard.

When Will Xbox Game Pass Announce Its March 2025 Wave 1 Lineup?

The next confirmed Xbox Game Pass release beyond this month is Atomfall. The post-apocalyptic survival game is scheduled to have its day-one debut on the service on March 27, thus being part of next month’s Wave 2 lineup. As for the March 2025 Wave 1 roster, it’s most likely to be announced on or around March 4, not least because of Microsoft’s tendency to reveal new Xbox Game Pass titles on a Tuesday. In the meantime, the subscription service is losing nine games on February 28, for a total of 16 monthly removals—making this month a significant net loss for the Xbox Game Pass library.
