Creator of Invaluable World of Warcraft Fan Sites has Passed Away
One of the creative minds behind several of World of Warcraft’s most popular and often-used fan sites has sadly passed away.
In Patch 11.1, Delves are getting their first batch of new content since the feature was added in the latest expansion. Season 2 will see some fantastic rewards made available for fans, including the Delver’s Gob-Trotter – a customizable mount similar to the Delver’s Dirigible from Season 1, but themed after the Goblins of Undermine. The Junkreaver’s Apparel offers a black and red look to the wastelander-inspired overworld set, and the Delve-O-Bot 7001 toy can teleport characters to a random Bountiful Delve in Khaz Algar. Lastly, the Cultists’ Quay Campsite offers a new way for World of Warcraft players to personalize their Warbands character select screen.

The next season of World of Warcraft also brings two new Delves to the game in the form of Side Street Sluice and Excavation Site 9. Beyond that, most of the existing Delves on Khaz Algar are getting a new Gnome- or Goblin-themed variant. Brann can also officially be specced as a gun and shield-wielding tank – which will be especially helpful when challenging the Underpin, the new Delve adversary akin to World of Warcraft: The War Within Season 1’s Zekvir.
Patch 11.1 arrives in World of Warcraft on February 25, bringing with it all of this new Delve content. Undercoin will also be reset to 0 to prevent players from saving up and instantly buying all the new stuff in the update, so fans should be sure to spend all of their currency, finish their Delver’s Journey, and complete their other World of Warcraft: The War Within Season 1 milestones before then.
While exploring these Delves and earning these rewards, fans will also encounter brand-new visual effects for AoEs in World of Warcraft. Featuring clearly telegraphed damage zones and bright colors to draw attention, players will have a much better time surviving in difficult Delves from Season 2 onward.
