Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 – How To Romance Characters
This romance guide for Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 will explain how romance works, and provide tips for Henry’s love pursuits.
However, she will also tell Henry about her favorite book that was left at the castle. For an extra opportunity, which can possibly lead to romancing Rosa Ruthard in KCD2, Henry should ask “What book is that?” and then say “I’ll bring the book, fear not!“. This will start the Rosa’s Book task, which can only be completed during the Taking French Leave quest.
Where To Find Rosa’s Book In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
Once players have made it through the secret tunnel and into Maleshov castle as part of the Taking French Leave quest, their first step should be to obtain a set of keys.
Obtaining A Set Of Keys For The Tower
To the right of where Henry spawns, there is an easy guard to prey on. Players can either pickpocket him if they have a high Thievery skill or knock him out and steal his keys.
If you opt to knock out the guard or even kill him, remember to hide the body somewhere out of sight.
Entering The Main Tower Of Maleshov Castle
With a set of keys for the tower, players should walk around the large main tower of Maleshov, avoiding all the guards, until they find the wooden set of stairs.
Up these stairs, they can unlock the door with the keys, and they will now be on the second of four floors in the tower.
The Third Floor Of The Tower
As players head left toward the internal staircase to the third floor, it is likely that they will hear two guards talking with a lady. If this is the case, wait in the small kitchen until the guards come back down and sit at a table.
Once it’s safe, head up to the third floor. There are two doors. Slowly enter the left door, and creep behind the Lady Ofka, before knocking her out. Steal her keys as they will be useful later.

Take The Book Back To Rosa In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
After completing Taking French Leave, Henry has a small amount of freedom and time before he must attend King Sigismund’s council meeting in Kuttenberg.
In this time, players who want to complete the Rosa’s Book task should return to her as soon as possible, and at least before attending the council meeting. To impress her and win her favor, read (or at least) open the book before speaking to her, as she will ask Henry if he did.
