What Name Should You Choose For Swann’s Cat?
The choice to name your cat doesn’t seem like a big one, but it’s a small taste of what’s to come when you look at the bigger picture. As your first story-altering choice, there are a few things to know.
When Swann calls her mom at the very beginning of the game, her mom tries to remember what Swann’s childhood cat’s name was. You can pipe in with one of three choices. While it doesn’t seem important, it does have some impact. For starters, the type of cat Swann has will change depending on your answer.
Additionally, the writing on the calendar changes to reflect your cat’s name!
How To Get The Orange Cat
Who doesn’t love a fluffy orange cat? If you want to have this lovable feline, have Swann answer her mom with ‘Pumpkin’ as the cat’s name.
When you enter the bar to meet with Autumn and flashback to Swann’s old bedroom, you’ll see the orange furball lying on the chest by the window. Give him lots of pets and attention!
We recommend picking Pumpkin because he matches Swann’s vibe!
How To Get The White Cat
Sleek white cats are adorable, and what better name than ‘Snowy’ for such a furry friend? Tell Swann’s mom that’s the name of the cat, and you’ll get your very own white cat with startling blue eyes.
Your companion will be here for you whenever Swann returns to her bedroom, so make sure to give Snowy plenty of attention.
How To Get The Black Cat
If you love a classic black cat with yellow eyes, tell Swann’s mom that the cat’s name is ‘Shadow’. When you arrive in her old bedroom, he’ll be waiting for you by the window in all his glossy-fur glory.
Ask about how the cat feels in regard to the upcoming move to Vancouver, then sit beside him for a quick cuddle before packing your bag for the Movie Palace.
Once you make your decision, you can’t change it again later. This is one choice that doesn’t have a set time limit, so there’s no rush! Go with your gut.
