Summary
- Dragon Ball Daima will end in just a few episodes, disappointing some who expected it to be more similar to DBZ or DBS.

Dragon Ball Daima is officially reaching its finish line, and will end in just a few episodes. The series has been well-accepted in parts of the fandom, especially by those who missed the Dragon Ball anime. Those who expected something more in the lines of Dragon Ball Z or Dragon Ball Super might have been a bit disappointed, though.
A few days ago, it was confirmed that Dragon Ball Daima will end in Episode 20 – this information was actually first revealed by Daniel Castañeda, a Toei representative in Latin America in 2023 (who also confirmed that the series would be streamed worldwide). However, fans thought that Toei might have changed plans since then. The latest episode gave fans a massive reveal, turning Super Saiyan 4 into a canon transformation. Fans are eagerly waiting to learn what’s coming next, as there are only two episodes left.

Where to Watch Dragon Ball Daima?
Besides Crunchyroll, fans in the US can also watch Dragon Ball Daima on Hulu a few hours after the episode airs in Japan. A week later, the episode will be added to Netflix and, depending on where you live, it may also be available on MAX and other services.
What Will Happen in Episode 19?
Episode 19 is the penultimate episode of the series, so it should show a lot of action, but should also at least tease the final events and the conclusion that will take place in Episode 20. The last episode ended when Glorio was about to make a wish, although not necessarily the wish fans wanted him to make. Some hope his wish will bring Goku and the others back to their original, adult forms.
So, there is a possibility that Goku will turn once again into SSJ4 as an adult – hopefully, Episode 19 will explain how he turned into SSJ4 while also clarifying why he hasn’t done so in Dragon Ball Super.
Dragon Ball Daima is available to stream on Crunchyroll, Hulu and Netflix.
