Patapon 3 and Dropship: United Peace Force are now available to play via the PS Plus Premium classics catalog, complete with dedicated trophy lists. Both classic games were added to PS Plus Premium as part of the service’s February 2025 lineup.
One of PS Plus Premium’s most notable perks is its growing catalog of natively playable classic titles from the PS1, PS2, and PSP generations, as well as streaming-only games from the PS3 era. Additionally, PS Plus Premium classics offer convenient features like rewind, remappable controls, save states, increased resolution and framerate, video filters, and occasionally even brand-new trophy lists. Sony adds a handful of classics to PS Plus Premium every month, often with trophy support.

Alongside the February 2025 PS Plus Extra and Premium additions, PSP rhythm game Patapon 3 and PS2 flight combat simulator Dropship: United Peace Force recently made their way into the service’s classics catalog, that too with good news for trophy hunters. Starting off with Patapon 3, the PSP classic offers a whopping 40 trophies on PS4 and PS5, including a platinum. It’s worth noting that Patapon 3‘s co-op multiplayer functionality hasn’t made it into the PS Plus Premium release, but even then, the rhythm game’s trophies are hardly a walk in the park, as later levels can be highly skill-intensive.
The 22-strong trophy list of Dropship: United Peace Force is relatively easier and more straightforward than that of Patapon 3, although multiple playthroughs may be required to obtain the platinum. Developed by PlayStation’s now-shuttered London Studio, Dropship: United Peace Force joins the likes of SkyGunners, Ghosthunter, Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings, etc. as some of the more obscure classic games available to PS Plus Premium subscribers.
There’s more good news for classic game fans, as Sony recently announced that the first three Armored Core games are headed to PS Plus Premium sometime later this year. One can only hope that when these FromSoftware classics debut on PS Plus Premium, they come equipped with full trophy lists.
