Now’s the ideal moment to revisit Diablo 4, as Blizzard is handing out bonus XP and gold to all players for a limited time. So if you’re taking a break from Last Epoch or Path of Exile 2 and want to check back in with your D4, then now’s the time. Lilith’s extras are a little different this time, however, as you’ve also got the opportunity to earn extra gear.
The latest Diablo 4 Mother’s Blessing event is running now for a limited time, and it brings back all the temporary bonuses you could want. You can snag 35% experience and 50% gold on both Seasonal and Eternal Realms, and even all World Tiers. You’ll be glad to know the bonus also stacks, so using elixirs and the Urn of Aggression will help you out even more in the RPG.
This time, however, the Mother’s Blessing is offering more. Whenever you return Grim Favors you’ll be given an additional Gift of the Tree cache to open. You usually get these caches from turning in open-world bounties, but now you’ll get double the rewards for doing them. It’s worth noting that this is a Collection of Chaos cache, which doesn’t give any specific rewards but instead pulls from all other available pools of items. That does mean you’ll get even more XP and gold, though.
This comes in the wake of some slightly disappointing news, however. Despite promising one expansion per year, the next Diablo 4 DLC is now coming in 2026. That means that after Vessel of Hatred last year, we’ve got more than 12 months to wait for the story to continue. At least the Season of Witchcraft just started and will be with us for a short while.
Blizzard is activating the Mother’s Blessing in Diablo 4 from Tuesday February 18 to Tuesday February 25, with plenty of bonuses included in the event.
