Elden Ring Nightreign’s big network test took place over this weekend, and with the confirmation that the game will include several bosses from across the Dark Souls series, I’m sure there were plenty of Bloodborne fans sniffing around for even the smallest reference. While some fans think Lady Maria was in the game’s trailer, none were seemingly found, leaving some slightly dejected.
That was until FromSoftware sent out a survey for those that were invited to the Elden Ring Nightreign network test, and one question in particular managed to send Bloodborne fans into a frenzy. This particular question was first shared by Twitter user Nightreign Countdown, and essentially asks fans whether they’d play a Bloodborne sequel if one was made.
Bloodborne Fans Have Found Hope Again In Elden Ring Nightreign Survey
This is obviously something that would be very easy to fake, but other fans that received the survey began sharing the question too, including Facebook user David Mortimer, and plenty of others in the replies to Nightreign Countdown’s tweet. Safe to say, it’s legit, but it may be best not to get our hopes up just yet.

Bloodborne Fans, It Might Be Time To Move On
There’s no evidence that anything is happening with Bloodborne, and as we approach its tenth anniversary, maybe it’s time to throw in the towel.
While it’s exciting that FromSoftware has actually acknowledged Bloodborne for once, it is worth pointing out that the survey lists pretty much all of FromSoftware’s past games and asks whether you’d play another installment in that particular series. It even lists Dark Souls 2, and I think we have a higher chance of a meteor striking the Earth than getting a direct sequel to that game.
At the very least, they’ve asked the question, and this is a perfect opportunity for fans to make their voice heard, which they seem to be doing in spades. Pretty much every Bloodborne fan that got the survey is using the “Extra Comments” section to call for a remaster or a 60fps patch. Hopefully, those calls will be heard and answered, with Bloodborne’s tenth anniversary coming up next month.
