What Does Evo Lumberjack Do in Clash Royale

Evo Lumberjack works a bit differently from other evolved cards in Clash Royale. Normally, when Lumberjack dies, he drops a Rage spell. But with his evolved version, he also turns into a ghost along with the Rage effect. This makes it very hard to deal with because not only does the Rage clear out Skeletons, but the Ghost will also start attacking your troops or tower. And since he’s invisible, your opponent’s tower and troops won’t see him.

One thing to point out here is that the Ghost only stays active as long as he’s inside the Rage spell. Once the Rage effect ends, the Ghost disappears too. A smart trick is to always have another Rage spell in your deck. That way, when the first one is about to end, Clash Royale fans can drop another and keep the Ghost attacking for even longer. And since Lumberjack only costs four elixir, this can give you some insane positive elixir trades.

How to Counter Evolved Lumberjack

A great way to counter Evo Lumberjack is by using the Tornado spell. Players can drag the ghost out of the Rage spell’s radius using it. Another solid counter is the Evolved Goblin Cage. When the Lumberjack gets trapped, the cage takes him down, and once the Goblin pops out, it will pull the ghost away from Rage.

The Freeze spell is another good counter, but it costs four elixir. If the ghost hasn’t engaged with your tower yet, you can stop him with a cheap swarm card like Goblins or Skeletons. And remember that spells like Fireball, Arrows, and Lightning won’t damage the ghost, so don’t waste them trying to counter him.
