Summary

  • Xbox Game Pass Ultimate is giving away four Naruto movies from the 2010s.

Xbox Game Pass Ultimate started giving away some popular Naruto movies from the 2010s. The offer, which includes four films in total, is available to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members until late March 2025.

Compared to Xbox Game Pass Standard, the highest tier of Microsoft’s subscription service has two big selling points: access to day-one games and an ever-changing selection of perks. While new day-one titles are introduced every month, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate perks are added less frequently.

Xbox Game Pass Losing 2 Yakuza Games and 6 More Titles on February 28

Xbox Game Pass is set to lose two critically acclaimed Yakuza games, along with half a dozen other titles at the end of February 2025.

Microsoft expanded its selection of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate benefits in mid-February 2025, when it started giving away multiple Naruto movies to its subscribers. The offer includes four films: Naruto Shippuden the Movie: Blood Prison, Road to Ninja, The Last, and Boruto. The movies, released between 2011 and 2015, can be claimed by clicking the corresponding banner under the Perks tab of the Xbox app or the Xbox Game Pass hub on consoles. The movies are distributed via a single promo code, which can be redeemed via the Microsoft Store or the Xbox app. The offer itself is available until March 24, 2025.

Xbox Game Pass Ultimate’s Current Naruto Movie Freebies

  • Naruto Shippuden the Movie: Blood Prison (2011)
  • Road to Ninja: Naruto the Movie (2012)
  • The Last: Naruto the Movie (2014)
  • Boruto: Naruto the Movie (2015)

As is often the case with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate freebies, this batch of Naruto films gets tied to one’s Microsoft account after redeeming its accompanying promotional code. As a result, users will retain access to the movies even if they let their subscription run out. While Microsoft’s terms of service allow the company to remove digital products from accounts for essentially any reason, such occurrences are relatively rare.

Xbox Game Pass Ultimate Members Have Multiple Perks to Claim Right Now

Aside from four Naruto films, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members can currently also claim a Naraka: Bladepoint item bundle, as well as the Void Chaser Bundle for the second season of The First Descendant. A Feelin’ Lucky weapon charm for Apex Legends is also part of the service’s current perk offerings, as is the Shadowheart’s Champions of Renown Bundle for Idle Champions of the Forgotten Realms.

In terms of new game releases, the next item on Microsoft’s content agenda is Avowed. The fantasy RPG from Fallout: New Vegas developer Obsidian Entertainment is scheduled to reach Xbox Game Pass Ultimate on February 18. That’s also the day when Microsoft is expected to announce the second part of the XGP lineup for February 2025. In the meantime, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers who want to play Avowed early have been able to do so since February 13 by purchasing the RPG’s Premium Upgrade Addon. While the DLC retails for $24.99, it comes with an automatic 10% discount for XGP Ultimate members, bringing its price down to $22.49.
