WWE 2K25 Full Roster Revealed

The full WWE 2K25 character roster has been revealed, featuring a mix of squared circle legends and currently active WWE superstars. As fans prepare themselves for this year’s WrestleMania, WWE and 2K have started showing off the latest installment of their annual grappling simulator. The official cover art for WWE 2K25 was presented live during the January 28 episode of Monday Night Raw, while Paul Heyman appeared during last week’s PlayStation State of Play livestream to discuss the game’s new multiplayer Island mode.

WWE 2K25’s 2K Showcase mode will be centered around the legendary Anoaʻi wrestling family, with playable matches highlighting the careers of WWE 2K25 cover star Roman Reigns, The Rock, Yokozuna, Royal Rumble 2025 winner Jey Uso, and more. Recently released WWE 2K25 footage and screenshots have confirmed other active stars like CM Punk and Rhea Ripley, and character stats for several superstars have been revealed during WWE programming over the past few weeks.

WWE 2K25 Includes Surprise Throwback to Older Games

WWE 2K25 fans spot a surprising nod to one of the wrestling promotion’s most beloved time periods and the many video games that spawned from it.

Fans didn’t have to wait for the latest episode of Monday Night Raw to see WWE 2K25’s full roster, as IGN recently reported on the entire lineup of playable wrestlers coming to the latest entry in the series. There will be over 300 playable characters in WWE 2K25 (including alternate variants), with a full range of superstars from the company’s Raw, SmackDown, and NXT brands in addition to WWE legends from the past. There are also a handful of non-playable managers who can accompany their favorite superstars to the ring, and the creepy Wyatt Sicks faction is being offered as a pre-order bonus.

WWE 2K25 Offers Playable Legends and Modern-Day Superstars

Not all of WWE 2K25’s playable superstars will be available from the start, as some will naturally have to be unlocked by playing through modes like the previously mentioned Bloodline-centric 2K Showcase mode and single-player MyRise mode. The past few WWE 2K games also built on their rosters with post-launch DLC, featuring new WWE superstars who debuted after the games’ releases and more legends from the former WCW and ECW promotions.

This will likely continue with WWE 2K25, but for now the main roster is packed with playable WWE superstars, from PLE headliners like WWE Champion Cody Rhodes to past legends like the Undertaker and even some future main-eventers from NXT. WWE 2K25 will launch across all current platforms on March 14, and in the meantime WWE fans can look forward to a new episode of Monday Night Raw later tonight and the upcoming Elimination Chamber event on March 1.
