Therefore, gamers have plenty of reasons to keep playing Fortnite even once they’ve finished the Chapter 6 Season 1 Battle Pass.
Chapter 6 Season 1 ends on Friday, February 21, at 2 AM ET, which is when the servers shut down and downtime for the upcoming season’s patch begins. Matchmaking will be disabled 30 minute before then, which means players have until 1:30 AM ET to start their final game of the season.
When Does Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 2 Start?

Epic Games has confirmed that Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 2 will start on Friday, February 21 – the same day that the previous season is scheduled to end. As soon as servers are back up, players will be able to log in and experience Fortnite Lawless for themselves.
Whenever there’s a major patch, it usually takes between three to five hours for servers to get back up, so gamers can expect to jump into Fortnite Lawless between 5 and 7 AM ET.
