Best Legacy Path for Egypt
Since Egypt is an Antiquity Age Civilization, players won’t be aiming for an end-game victory. In this Age, gamers will most likely find themselves inclined to complete the Cultural Legacy Path, as it mostly benefits those who build wonders, which is absolutely crucial for this path.
In order to complete the Antiquity Age’s Wonders of the Ancient World Legacy Path, gamers must have seven world wonders across their empire. As players complete the various Milestones of this Legacy Path, they’ll unlock Legacy Points and Legacy Options, which will greatly benefit them in the next Age.
Best Leader For Egypt
Players can pick just about any Leader when playing as Egypt, but there are some that will feel much more in-sync with this Civilization, as they are connected historically or geographically.
Hatshepsut is the best Leader for Egypt if gamers are aiming to complete the Cultural Legacy Path. The Egyptian Empire’s Production, Gold, and overall adjacency bonuses associated with the construction of Wonders as well as the boost to Production on Navigable River tiles pairs extremely well with Hatshepsut’s ability, God’s Wife of Amun.
God’s Wife of Amun grants Hatshepsut +1 Culture for every imported Resource and +15 percent Production towards constructing Buildings and Wonders in Cities adjacent to Navigable Rivers.
Egypt Strategy & Tips
To take full advantage of Hatshepsut’s and Egypt’s abilities, gamers will want to found their cities next to Navigable Rivers so that, once they start constructing Buildings and Wonders, they will be completed much faster than usual.
Research the Egyptian Civics Tree
Once players start setting up their Capital, they want to make sure that they focus on generating Culture so that they can quickly study the Egyptian Civics Tree and gain access to this Civ’s unique buildings, consequently allowing them to create Egypt’s unique Quarter and unlock the Riches of the Duat Policy Card, which increases Production by 15 percent when constructing Wonders.
If the Mastaba and the Mortuary Temple are completed, creating a Necropolis, gamers will gain bonuses for Gold and Happiness next to Wonder tiles and receive +100 Gold for each Wonder that they build. Since they will be constructing Wonders for the Cultural Legacy Path, this way they can generate Gold, allowing to purchase Production Buildings, which will make it possible to complete Wonders faster, making them nearly self-suficient.
Boost Wonder Production
Players should continue to boost their Wonder Production by selecting Policy Cards, such as Riches of the Duat, choosing the Monument to the Gods Pantheon belief, and picking it as a Celebration boost.
