When it comes to modern and functional tech accessories, Satechi has built quite a reputation for itself within niche markets outside where big competitors like Anker and Belkin lurk. Since it really began gaining more traction around 2016 when USB-C started becoming more prevalent, Satechi has proven its ability to offer sleek aesthetics and high build quality, especially when it comes to USB-C hubs, docking stations, wireless chargers, and other peripherals that work well with Apple products. One of the brand’s latest offerings is a 2-in-1 Headphone Stand With Wireless Charger, designed to complement the look of any gamer or professional’s setup, while simultaneously providing a resting place for their headset and efficient power for their iPhone and AirPods.
It doesn’t take long to become well acquainted with Satechi’s 2-in-1 Headphone Stand With Wireless Charger, simply due to the company’s signature emphasis on cosmetics and build quality. It does perfectly what it has been designed to do, although it lacks a necessary accessory out of the box that would have allowed users to take full advantage of its 2-in-1 nature.

Satechi’s 2-in-1 Headphone Stand Is Sleek and Durable, But Lacks Power Out of the Box
The Aesthetics, Build Quality, and Functionality of Satechi’s 2-in-1 Headphone Stand Are Unmatched
First things first, Satechi’s 2-in-1 Headphone Stand is great to look at, and its metallic, grayscale aesthetics allow it to fit almost any professional or gaming setup. Most of its surface is polished and reflective for a real pristine and professional appearance, and its minimalist build leaves it looking less like an eyesore and more like something that belongs where it is.
Satechi’s 2-in-1 Headphone Stand is also very durable, with a stainless steel build that feels like it’s not going anywhere anytime soon. There’s a smooth rubber grip on the top of the stand’s arm that ensures headphones won’t slip around or fall off for any reason. I personally never had any problems with my headset taking a tumble, and I moved the stand around a lot to see how effective it was. There’s also a rubber grip on the stand’s base that discourages the stand itself from sliding around.
Users Will Need an Extra Accessory to Take Full Advantage of Satechi’s 2-in-1 Headphone Stand
Perhaps the biggest downside to Satechi’s 2-in-1 Headphone Stand is the fact that users will need a sold-separately 20W power adapter in order to get the most out of its magnetic wireless charger. Plugging the provided USB-C cable directly into the USB-C port on a power strip, for instance, doesn’t supply enough power to the stand to see it effectively charge anything. Considering that part of the stand is half of its 2-in-1 nature, one would think it would include the adapter necessary to actually make it a more efficient 2-in-1 piece of hardware. Of course, some users may be okay with using the 20W power adapter they likely already have for their phone.
The stand has an LED indicator on its base that notifies users when it’s receiving power and when a device is charging. When power is running to the stand, the LED light is solid, whereas it will pulse when a device is being charged.
As far as phones go, the stand can charge any iPhone from generation 12 to an iPhone 16, and it’s also compatible with AirPods from first generation AirPods to second generation AirPods Pro, making it a semi-versatile charger. Despite the disappointing lack of a 20W power adapter, the USB-C cable included with the stand can still maintain a phone’s battery life and even add a very miniscule percentage to it. After nearly two hours of using the cable alone to charge my iPhone 14 Pro Max, for example, it added about 15% to my phone’s battery life, but if users want a quicker charge, they’ll need to plug in their phone’s power block or purchase an extra one.
Assuming users have a 20W power adapter to attach to the end of the USB-C cable included with the stand, they can also make use of the 2-in-1 Headphone Stand’s additional USB-C PD port, though they will need to either purchase or use their own USB-C cable for that as well. The main purpose of this port is for charging headsets, which is actually really convenient, so long as there’s enough power going to the stand. Rather than running a USB-C cable from another location to a pair of wireless headphones to charge them, users can keep their cables nice and tidy near the stand itself, especially considering the stand’s adjustable rubber cable management attachment.
Satechi’s 2-in-1 Headphone Stand With Wireless Charger certainly delivers on aesthetics, durability, and functionality — at least when paired with the necessary power adapter. The stand’s design is as premium as expected from Satechi, complementing professional and gaming setups while offering a sturdy, well-built structure for headphones to rest on. The wireless charging feature is a welcome addition as well, but its full potential is locked behind an additional purchase, which feels like a somewhat frustrating oversight. That said, for those willing to invest in the extra power adapter, this stand is an excellent combination of form and function.
Satechi’s 2-in-1 Headphone Stand With Wireless Charger is available for purchase on Satechi’s official website.
