Loki’s Color Scheme Revealed
Showcased in the Draft of One Piece’s Volume 111 Cover
One Piece Volume 111’s cover has been somewhat revealed. Indeed, Oda’s draft of this cover is out, and fans can watch the whole video process where his step-by-step progress and various changes can clearly be seen, both in terms of designs and colorings.
This latest cover will be the first for the Elbaf arc, and it features quite a few characters. As expected, Luffy is on the cover, but he isn’t the only Straw Hat. Zoro, Nami, Sanji, Usopp, and Chopper also make it, and Oda reveals all the colors for their outfits.
The major addition, however, is Loki, Elbaf’s Accursed Prince. This is Loki’s very first appearance on a cover page, and this is important, as this is the first time fans get this character’s official colors by Oda.
During this coloring process that Loki’s character went through, Oda went through a variety of colors for both his hair, his cape, and his tattoos.

For his hair, Oda tried blond, red, dark green, light green, and purple. In the end, however, pink is the color Oda chose, alongside a purple cape and red tattoos.

When Will One Piece Volume 111 Drop?
For now, fans only got to see a draft, so they should know that, while these are the official colors Oda chose, they will all look a lot better once they are rendered and shaded. Oda’s color choices for Loki might be a bit controversial for some fans, but One Piece characters have always been very colorful, so this is nothing new, and will look much better in the final cover rendering.
The cover will be fully revealed when the volume itself drops, or a week ahead, so fans can expect it around March 4, 2025.
