Summary
- Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman now have wedding-themed skins in Marvel Rivals.
- Players who have the outfits already have been using them to stage in-game ceremonies.
- One clip shows the teams downing tools so they can celebrate the happy couple before chaos ensues.
A lot of skins have been added to Marvel Rivals during its first two months, but despite not joining the game until this season, Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman might already have the most diverse range to choose from. Especially after the happy couple got some Life Fantastic wedding-themed outfits to wear on Valentine’s Day.
The Fantastic Four members’ new skins were added to the game at the end of last week and are now available to buy via Rivals’ in-game store. There was a chance to unlock them for free if you were placed in a match with certain streamers at certain times, a gimmick that didn’t sit well with a lot of players who wanted the outfits without having to pay for them.
The new skins are being celebrated as much as the way they were distributed for free has been criticized, though. Some of those who do have the Life Fantastic skins have been using them to conduct in-game wedding ceremonies. Most notably streamer Skia who shared footage of Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman tying the not while wearing their wedding gear.
Mister Fantastic And Invisible Woman Now Have Wedding Gear In Marvel Rivals
So Naturally, Players Have Been Helping Them Get Hitched
Taking place on the scenic streets of Shin-Shibuya, but not as you will have ever seen them before. Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman are using the alleyway that usually sees the most action on the Tokyo 2099 map during its Convergence matches. However, it seems a cease-fire has been called with members of each team lining up on either side of the makeshift aisle to honor the happy couple.
The outfits even come with emotes as Mister Fantastic produces a ring, and Invisible Woman whips out a bunch of flowers. The ending of the clip is a little worrying as Mister Fantastic appears to run away from the imaginary altar. My guess is that’s probably got something to do with the temporary treaty likely coming to an end as soon as vows have been exchanged and not because he isn’t committed to his new superhero wife.
This past weekend has been a busy one for Marvel Rivals news. An interview with the game’s director confirmed that there isn’t bait lurking in the game’s code trying to trick leakers into spreading misinformation, and NetEase has been in touch with Nintendo about getting Rivals on Switch 2. Bigger and more important than all of that, Rivals players have also noticed Captain America’s new Infinity War outfit seriously enhances his backside.
