If you’ve spent a bunch of time exploring the lands of Dawnshore and Emerald Stairs in Avowed, you likely already know of the existence of Pargrun Cache structures. You can find one of these structures in each region, and they contain some of the hardest puzzles.

Precious Light is one of the side quests that you can find in the Dawnshore area of Avowed, and here’s how you can beat it.
Each Pargrun Cache can provide you with three or more chests, but these will be difficult to get for Shatterscarp since the puzzles you have to solve can be quite daunting. Here’s the exact path you need to take to get all these chests.
Where To Find Shatterscarp Pargrun Cache
To find the Pargrun Cache of Shatterscarp, you’ll have to head to the eastern side of the map where you see Shark’s Teeth written. You’ll already have to come to this area for the main quest, so you don’t have to go out of your way for this one.
Head to the southeastern part of Shark’s Teeth and you’ll see a particularly preserved building with the cache inside. The entry for this one is fairly simple as you just have to slowly jump down the rubble.
How To Fully Explore Shatterscarp Pargrun Cache
The first chest you can find in this cache is at the very top as you go to the little secluded area with purple light on it. After getting that chest, jump down the rubble and land on one of the wooden beams going through the area. Here are the steps after that:

You’ll see a cage on the same level as the wooden beams that you can jump to, and then you can break this by either using a frost weapon or an Eye of Rymrgand. This will open up the main chambers for you.
In this room, first turn the wheel on the right side, which will open a door below. After that, put the left and the right lever up while the other two stay down to open the door on your left with a purple chest.

Once in this room, you can see another not-so-hidden secret entrance. To access this, you have to trigger the switch on the structure to the right of the room. This will give you access to another golden chest and the Ornate Pargrun Key.
The golden chest will contain a rare unique clothing item.

Finally, you can jump all the way down and defeat the enemies before claiming the main golden chest in the cache. This will give you Skald’s Brigandine unique armor.
Where To Use Ornate Pargrun Key
After getting the Ornate Pargrun Key, you can head back to the Shark’s Teeth party camp or the Tago’s Tower beacom. From there, you have to go to the area just above where “Shark’s” is written on the map. You’ll see a big locked door as soon as you get to this location.
While this door can be opened with the ornate key, you won’t be getting some sort of rare treasure here. Instead, it will just be the body of a Pargrun builder with some purple-rarity items on it.
