How To Get Doomsday Mutation In Fisch
To get the Doomsday Mutation in Fisch, you’ll need to cast your line in the lava released from Roslit Volcano during the Ashfall event. For those unfamiliar, the event triggered the Roslit Volcano to erupt, spilling lava into the ocean. Fishing in it is the only way to get this special mutation in the game. However, there’s one exception: the Coelacanth. Its mutated version can be found anywhere in the ocean.
Start by spawning your boat and sailing towards Roslit Bay. If you have a GPS, dock at X:-1450 Y:135 Z:750, or head east on the map and follow the location pointer. Once you’re there, you’ll find glowing lava in Roslit Bay’s waters. Just hop in and start reeling in. The best part is that you don’t need a specific rod to fish in it, which is different from the Roslit Volcano area, where the Magma Rod is required to snag sea creatures. Just grab any rod you have, equip it with the preferred fish bait, and cast your line.
Getting the Doomsday Mutation is random, with only a 10% chance of it appearing on a fish, so you’ll need to put in some grind. You can also use the Aurora Totem or count on Merlin’s VI to increase your luck of catching this variant. The Doomsday mutated fish has an orange body. Once you catch it, sell it to the local merchants for a hefty price—especially the mutated Ashcloud Archerfish, which can be traded for up to 94,000 cash or more. Using a No-Life Rod with Hasty Enchant or a Tempest Rod with Steady Enchant will help you catch fish faster and earn more. Just remember, the Doomsday Mutation is part of the Ashfall event, running from February 15 to February 22, so make sure to take advantage of it before it’s gone.
