How to Find the Pyromancer’s Key in Avowed
Players can find the locked chest requiring the Pyromancer’s Key between the Berath’s Gateway cemetery and Old Pargrun Wall in Avowed. It’s located inside an older camp and gives off a purple hue, indicating high-quality loot inside. You’ll need to find the Pyromancer’s Key, which isn’t far from the chest. Here’s how to get it.
Getting the Pyromancer’s Key
To get to the Pyromancer’s Key, head inside the Berath’s Gate cemetery and exit through the back. After exiting the cemetery, follow the path to the left, and you’ll spot two bridges in front of you. Keep following the path ahead and, after crossing the first bridge, look for a slope on the left to reach higher ground.
You’ll encounter several low-level enemies in this area. So, it’s best that you dispatch them first before continuing on the path ahead.
Once you reach the second bridge, take a right turn, into the path between the rocks, and you’ll come across a Crazed Pyromancer trying out a new spell. The spell hilariously backfires, and the Pyromancer will end up blowing himself up.
Approach the scene of the accident and grab the Pyromancer’s key, as well as a unique item called Anextli’s Grimoire. The Grimoire is one of the best starting off-hand items in Avowed as it lets you cast a variety of level 1 magic spells, as well as a few advanced ones if you’re running a wizard build.
