Where To Find Ashcloud Archerfish In Fisch
Like all Ashfall Bestiary fish, the Ashcloud Archerfish can be found by fishing in the lava around Roslit Bay’s surrounding waters in Fisch. This lava erupted from Roslit Volcano during the event, and you’ll need to cast your line in it to catch this fire-like fish. Roslit Bay is located near Grand Reef and Forsaken Shores; however, you’ll need to reach it first. Just choose a fast boat and head east. Upon reaching the island, you’ll find the ocean filled with hot molten rock, with Dr. Finneus’ Research Vessel nearby. Take out your rod and fish anywhere in the lava to catch the Ashcloud Archerfish.
Cast your hook from the island’s shore or while sitting on your boat, as falling into the deep lava will kill your character.
How To Catch Ashcloud Archerfish In Fisch
To get the Ashcloud Archerfish in Fisch, you’ll need to use Coal Bait on a high-resilience rod and cast your line during foggy weather. Unlike other fish, this one doesn’t have a special season or spawning time, so it should be relatively easy to catch. Here are some quick tips for getting it fast:
- Since the Ashcloud Archerfish likes Coal Bait, you’ll need to get your hands on the Volcanic Geode. You can obtain this by fishing in Roslit Volcano using the Magma Rod or by purchasing it from the Traveling Merchant for 600 in-game currency each. While you can still catch the Ashcloud Archerfish without Coal Bait, or even with no bait at all, the spawn rate will be much lower.
- To change the weather to foggy, make sure you have some Smokescreen Totems in your inventory. You can buy them from Mushgrove Swamp for 2,000 in-game cash.
- The Ashcloud Archerfish has a -90 Progress Speed and five Resilience, making it a tough catch. So, choose a rod with high resilience and lure speed, like the Abyssal Specter Rod. If you want to catch plenty of this fish faster, enchant the Tempest Rod or No-Life Rod with Mythical Enchant.
- Lastly, using Aurora Totems will increase the chances of the Ashcloud Archerfish biting your rod, so if you have them, be sure to use them. For those who don’t, you can buy a 10-minute luck boost from Merlin for 5,000 in-game cash or spend Robux for Server Luck.
