Digimon Fans Need to Circle March 19 on Their Calendars

The annual Digimon fan convention, Digimon Con, will host a special livestream on YouTube, starting in the late night of March 19 in North America. The upcoming Digimon livestream will include more news about the highly-anticipated Digimon Story: Time Stranger, which is scheduled to be released later in 2025.

First revealed during the February 12 PlayStation State of Play broadcast, Digimon Story: Time Stranger is the franchise’s first new game in nearly three years, following the 2022 visual novel game Digimon Survive. As part of the Digimon Story RPG series, Time Stranger will see the human and the Digital World collide once again, as players uncover the mysteries behind the appearance of Digimon throughout the real world. Like its predecessor, Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth, Time Stranger will feature turn-based RPG combat and monster-taming that will give players the means to befriend and battle all kinds of new and classic Digital Monsters.

According to the official Digimon portal site, Digimon Con will begin its livestream on Wednesday, March 19, at 10:00 PM Eastern, on the DigimonOfficialJP YouTube channel, which will be available to all viewers for free. The site stated that updates about Digimon Story: Time Stranger would be revealed during the show, and reconfirmed that the game would launch in 2025. However, Digimon Con did not elaborate on any further information.
