Summary

  • Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 features a character named Johann Silverfist—a humorous nod to Johnny Silverhand from the Cyberpunk franchise.
  • Johann Silverfist can be found in Kuttenberg.
  • KC:D2 includes references to dozens of other media, ranging from Puss in Boots to Elden Ring.

One Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 player has recently stumbled on an in-game character whose name appears to be a humorous reference to Johnny Silverhand from Cyberpunk. This nod to the popular dystopian franchise is far from the first Easter egg that Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 fans have discovered to date.

Warhorse Studios’ open-world RPG set in the medieval Kingdom of Bohemia has been going from strength to strength since its February 4 release. Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 sold 1 million copies in its first 24 hours on the market, then doubled that figure over the following 13 days. As its sales tally kept growing, so did player reports of various Easter eggs discovered throughout the game.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 Player Finds Silly Fairy Tale Easter Egg

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 features a rather adorable Easter egg that seems to be a silly nod to a famous European fairy tale.

In a continuation of this trend, Reddit user Master_Rawl recently came across an NPC called Johann Silverfist while exploring the second region of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. The name is a playful reference to Johnny Silverhand, one of the major characters from the Cyberpunk franchise, who’s portrayed by Keanu Reeves in CD Projekt Red’s Cyberpunk 2077. Master_Rawl’s discovery amassed thousands of upvotes and emerged on the front page of the r/KingdomCome subreddit in mid-February 2025, suggesting that many players haven’t yet come across this Easter egg.

Where To Find Johann Silverfist in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

Without spoiling too much, Johann Silverfist can be found shortly after first reaching Kuttenberg in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. He’s connected to a quest called Kuttenberg Tournament, which can be undertaken after completing Ars Dimicatoria—itself started by preventing a street conflict north of the Iron Eagle Tavern during the day. With Ars Dimicatoria out of the way, players can start Kuttenberg Tournament by speaking with Menhard van Frankfurt at the city’s Swordfighting Guild. Kuttenberg Tournament is a repeatable quest, with Johann Silverfist being one of a couple dozen named characters connected to it.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance Also Paid Tribute to a Hit CDPR RPG

KC:D2 is not the first Warhorse Studios game that has a connection to one of CD Projekt Red’s RPGs. The original Kingdom Come: Deliverance featured several The Witcher Easter eggs, including a horse named after Geralt’s trusty steed, Roach, which players were able to find at the Merhojed stables. Speaking to the stable owner there also led to a humorous exchange where the character claimed Roach was sold to him by an “odd Polish fellow.”

Johann Silverfist is far from the only Easter egg that Warhorse included in its latest RPG. Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 also features references to Puss in Boots, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, and Elden Ring, among dozens of other famous media.
