What are the Dead by Daylight system requirements? As you might expect, having been released back in 2016, the Dead by Daylight PC system requirements are somewhat dated. This means that you should have no issue playing the game on an old or budget gaming PC, but the better your hardware, the better your game will look and run.
You have never needed the best graphics card to run Dead by Daylight and it’s unlikely you ever will unless a massive graphical overhaul is released. That’s not to say that this asymmetrical horror game looks bad. Instead, DbD uses dark environments to take a focus away from the general level of detail and keep players focused firmly on the task at hand, whether that be escaping a map or chasing down survivors as a killers.
Here are the Dead By Daylight PC system requirements in 2025:

Take our Dead by Daylight PC system requirements test over on PCGameBenchmark to answer the question… Can I run Dead by Daylight?
The Dead by Daylight minimum requirements contain components that most younger PC gamers might never even have heard of. You’ll need an Nvidia GeForce GTX 460 or AMD HD 6850 graphics card alongside an Intel Core i3 4170 to AMD FX 8120 CPU.
As for the Dead by Daylight recommended specs, these don’t particularly take much of a jump up, with an Nvidia GeForce GTX 760 or AMD HD 8800 GPU being needed alongside the same Intel Core i3 4170 or an AMD FX 8300.
There is no mention of Radeon, Ryzen, or RTX to be seen although gaming hardware baring these more modern naming conventions will surely have no issue running Dead By Daylight.
For memory, 8GB of RAM is all you need across all system requirements tiers, and the Dead by Daylight download size comes in at just 50GB with no requirement for an SSD, although I strongly recommend one regardless.
