The Runic Rampage Challenge in Clash Royale is bringing some serious chaos, and if you love smashing through defenses, this one’s for you. The star of the show? The deadly combo of Berserker and Rune Giant, a duo that can bulldoze their way to victory if played right. To make the most of this challenge, you’ll need a deck that supports their raw power while keeping your opponent on their toes. In this guide, I’ll go over the best decks to help you dominate and have a blast while doing it.
Best Runic Rampage Challenge decks to use in Clash Royale
While Berserker can quickly chip away at enemies with her axes while being sturdy enough to survive most spells, the Rune Giant enhances up to two nearby allies every third attack. Since both are needed for this event, it’ll be interesting to see which strategies work best. Keeping that in mind, here are my three deck picks.
1. Rune Giant, Berserker, Electro Giant, Bomber, Cannon, Lightening, Inferno Dragon, Tornado
Average Elixir Cost: 3.6
This deck feels surprisingly smooth to play, considering it has two heavy tanks. Electro Giant is a great way to punish opponents relying on swarms, while Rune Giant makes counter-pushes stronger by buffing nearby troops. Bomber provides solid splash damage for cheap, and Inferno Dragon melts big tanks if left unchecked.

Lightning is a great way to clear buildings and support units, and Tornado combos well with it. Cannon felt like a solid defensive option, but if you find yourself struggling against air-heavy decks, swapping it for Tesla might help. Copy the deck here.
2. Rune Giant, Berserker, Ram Rider, Lumberjack, Inferno Dragon, Arrows, Poison, Dart Goblin
Average Elixir Cost: 3.6
This deck plays fast, and I had fun applying constant pressure since this is another quick cycle deck. Ram Rider is great for slowing down enemy pushes while dealing chip damage, and Lumberjack dropping Rage makes Berserker and Inferno Dragon hit even harder.

Poison helps a lot against swarms and buildings, and Arrows provide quick clears when needed. Dart Goblin works well as a quick cycle card and can snipe from a distance. If you find yourself struggling against heavy tanks, swapping Dart Goblin for a defensive card might help. Copy the deck here.
3. Rune Giant, Berserker, Goblin Giant, PEKKA, Archers, Skeleton Dragons, Guards, Arrows
Average Elixir Cost: 4.0
This deck is on the heavier side, but it feels very solid in defense. PEKKA is an absolute tank destroyer, while Goblin Giant and Rune Giant apply great pressure. Berserker adds fast damage, and Skeleton Dragons help handle air swarms.

Archers and Guards do a great job at holding off quick pushes, and Arrows clean up cheap distractions. Do not push Rune Giant alone, behind it you can make use of PEKKA with a full elixir cycle so that it is enhanced. You can test this deck here.
That’s all for my best deck guide for the Runic Rampage event and challenge in Clash Royale. If you have any other deck recommendations, please leave them in the comments. Until then, read other related Clash Royale articles:
