Zenless Zone Zero Leak Reveals Two New Drive Disc Sets

Zenless Zone Zero leaks are teasing a pair of new Drive Disc sets players will be able to pick up during the upcoming Version 1.6 update. The urban action RPG from HoYoverse has seen several massive updates throughout recent weeks, bringing a deluge of new content to the game. Version 1.5 introduced two brand-new characters with the addition of Astra Yao and Evelyn, while Version 1.4 concluded Zenless Zone Zero‘s first major story arc. Now, Version 1.6 looks to be a similarly stuffed patch with its forthcoming launch.

Zenless Zone Zero has already given fans lots to be excited about with a trio of new characters and an exciting new boss on the way. HoYoverse unveiled the three characters coming in Version 1.6 surrounding Version 1.5’s launch, with Silver Soldier Anby and Trigger as new S-Rank characters and Pulchra as a new A-Rank unit. Leaks have also shown off a new boss coming to the game and teased the event’s story to revolve around Cunning Hares member Anby and her mysterious backstory. A new leak is now revealing more content for players to improve their characters during the update.

Recent leaks from Zenless Zone Zero are teasing a brand-new faction coming to the game for some of its newest characters in Version 1.6.

Zenless Zone Zero Leak Shows New Drive Disc Sets

A new leak shared by prominent Zenless Zone Zero leaker New Eridu News Stand shows off a pair of new Drive Disc sets in Version 1.6. The first new set, “Shadow Companion,” features buffs to both Additional Attack and Dash Attack damage, while the 4-piece set grants a stacking effect that buffs ATK% and Crit Rate when hitting Additional Attacks or Dash Attacks. “Song of Phaethon” provides an Anomaly Mastery boost with its 2-piece set, while the 4-piece grants bonus Anomaly Proficiency and Ether damage for using EX Special Attacks. The new Drive Disc sets will debut with Version 1.6 on March 13.

Shadow Companion

• 2-piece set: Additional Attack and Dash Attack damage increased by 15%
• 4-piece set: When Additional Attack or Dash Attack hits an enemy, the user gains 1 stack of buff effect. Each stack increases the user’s attack by 4% and Crit Rate by 4%, lasting 15 seconds. Can stack up to 3 times, re-triggering refreshes the duration.

Song of Phaethon

• 2-piece set: Increases Anomaly Mastery by 8%.
• 4-piece set: When any team member uses EX Special Skill, increases the wielder’s Anomaly Proficiency by 45 for 8 seconds. If the EX Special Skill is used by a team member other than the wielder, the wielder’s Ether damage increases by 25%.

Zenless Zone Zero‘s newest Drive Disc sets look to provide some powerful new options for both pre-existing and upcoming characters. Shadow Companion is expected to be a powerful piece for Version 1.4 S-Rank character Asaba Harumasa, as well as new character Silver Soldier Anby. Song of Phaethon looks to be particularly useful for off-field Ether characters, particularly set to be a signature choice for rumored character Vivian.

Zenless Zone Zero‘s new Drive Disc sets are just a small part of what is expected to be a jam-packed update. Alongside the multitude of new characters, two new bosses have been rumored for Zenless Zone Zero‘s Version 1.6 between the mysterious “Thanatos” and rumored character Hugo Vlad appearing as a boss. HoYoverse has also teased several future characters, including the previously mentioned Hugo and Vivian alongside the rumored virtual idol faction. Zenless Zone Zero fans should have plenty in store for the next update early next month.
