As soon as you start playing Avowed, you’ll be bombarded with different choices at every step of the way. While these choices might not have as drastic consequences as you might think, they can still change the general outcome of a quest and the rewards you get.

This is especially true for side quests like Precious Light where you have multiple places where you can take the Luminous Adra. Here are the best choices you can make to get the most rewards.
Where To Get Precious Light Quest
If you’re reading this guide, chances are that you already have the Precious Light quest in your quest menu and are trying to figure out a way to beat it. However, if that’s not the case, you can find it by heading over to the Paradis City.
As you look at the map of the city, you’ll see a side quest right where Southern Paradis is written. Getting to this location and talking to Sapiento de Falva will allow you to start this quest where you have to hunt for some Luminous Adra for the NPC.
How To Get The Luminous Adra
Once you finish talking to Sapiento, you’ll be asked to talk to a few other NPCs in Paradis with their markers on the map. At the end of these talks, you’ll learn that the smugglers went to Castol’s Folly island on the southern edge of Dawnshore. This is where you’ll get your Luminous Adra.

As you get close to Castol’s Folly, you’ll notice that the island is covered with giant walls with not many ways to enter. If you want to get in, you’ll have to start at the shipwreck on the northwestern edge of the island.
Get to the top of this ship and you can then jump to the rock structures on the other side, leading you to a path. Follow this path for a bit and you’ll have to fight a few smugglers already.
You’ll have a lot of battles before you can reach Luminous Adra, and it’s highly recommended to get all your gear on fine tier for this.

After defeating the first few smugglers, continue on the path and turn left when it gets divided. Here, you’ll have another difficult battle before you can move along the path a bit more and reach the top.
You’ll find Captain Trevik here and he’ll make you an offer for the Luminous Adra.
What Should You Do With Luminous Adra?
This is where the tricky part of the quest starts since Captain Trevik will reveal that they stole Captain Bardatto’s Luminous Adra for Sapiento but lost it. Bardatto is now threatening them to return her Adra, and you get to decide how to take it and what to do with it.
If you agree to give the Adra to Bardatto or at least handle her for Trevik, he’ll give you the Adra peacefully. On the other hand, you can fight your way to get it as well. Keep in mind that this battle will be even more difficult than the ones before this.
It’s nearly impossible to win this fight if you don’t have your gear on fine tier, unless you lower your difficulty.
If you battle Trevik for the Adra, you can get a bit of extra loot from their bodies and simply deliver the Adra to Sapiento to get 300 currency and The Fantastic Alembic trinket. On the other hand, if you peacefully take it from Trevik, you can either give it to the captain or Sapiento.
The rewards from the latter will be the same, while the captain gives you two options:
- She can either leave Trevik and his crew alone after getting the Adra.
- Or you can get 500 currency payment from her for the Adra and she’ll likely kill Trevik after.
You also have the choice of fighting the captain if you want to save Trevik without giving the Adra, though this won’t give you many extra rewards except for a Bloodstone gem. The path where you get the most loot in this quest is defeating Trevik and giving the Adra to Sapiento.
