Originally released in 2019, World War Z adapts the novel of the same name while taking inspiration from the similarly titled film in terms of how its take on the world works. It turns the horror film into a third-person co-op shooter where a team of four players or a solo player with AI teammates can work together to survive in different global locations. World War Z is listed as being great for beginners on its own Epic Games page, and it may serve as a great title for those familiar with other games like Left 4 Dead. Bearing some similarities to some past Epic Games Store freebies – such as Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion – Garden Story is a wholesome RPG about a grape who has been appointed the newest guardian of his little community. Players can enjoy picking a weapon of choice for their adventure, upgrading it, solving puzzles, beating enemies, and completing special daily tasks, all while customizing their little grape hero. While Garden Story received mixed reviews from critics, it sits with a very positive standing on Steam from other players.
