The concept of Nobara’s technique is actually quite similar to the tales of Voodoo dolls. Once she obtains something that belongs to the target, such as a strand of hair, Nobara can either share her injuries with the target, knock them down from afar, or even outright kill them.

She may not be as active in the later story arcs, but her role is crucial in the first, and arguably greatest arc in Sword Art Online, the Aincrad Arc.
